Welcome to the forest. Here, live the four clans of Thunder, Wind, Shadow and River. Each different, each living better off then ever before. Prey is easy to find, harsh seasons mild and clan rival-ships minimal.
Everyone is happy.
Seasons continue to pass. Kits are born healthy and grow into fine warriors. One kit is born different, the first of many. He can speak to those who howl to the moon, the wolves. Quickly, he is outcast from his clan and left to die. Moons continue to pass and things return to normal. Until another kit was born with a gift and more followed. Some older cats even developed powers suddenly. None were as powerful as the original tom, but still strong enough to make the others wary of them. These Unknown Powers could not be explained through any means.
Less of these cats have been born as of recently. They have become more rare and difficult to find. Many chose to hide their gifts, fearing the hatred and distrust of their clan. Some chose to use them for their own gain, and others to benefit their clan. Tension in the clans themselves is high, and fights between members frequently break out. How long will the clans last against themselves? And where did these powers come from?
