Hey, hold up! Before you start roleplaying or talking or whatever you were just planning on doing, I need to explain to you some things. Yes, yes, I know -- the dreaded rules are not something you want to read when you are ready to create your cat. But, you must read these, because they are essential for survival on this site! So please, read them!

Inside the book called Warriors Field Guide: Secrets of the Clans, the Erins provided us with some useful information and tidbits, such as the warrior code and herb types, that we find very useful, especially here on Rewritten. Here are retellings of the amazing stories and such listed in this book.

No content in this forum is copyright us at all. This is all copyright Erin Hunter. Some stories that take place canonly in the future but won't take place in this RP may be posted up here.

The owner of this site is almost constantly updating it. To help you keep track of all the updates, whether it be activity checks or bans on certain Clan cats, this forum is here. Read through here at least once a week and make sure you are up to date on everything.

Have you got something planned for a Clan or perhaps the whole of the site? This is where you can discuss plots, whether it be discuss what happened in past plots, future plots, or plan plots of your own. Remember that those that you are planning need to be approved by either Gray or Fire before they can be put into action, though.

Sometimes, topics become really old, and yet we still want to look back on them. When this happens, the topic will be moved here to the archives -- this is the same with stray posts. Here are a few things you need to understand about the archives that people fail to understand at times:

- This is not a storage space for spam and bad posts. Stuff that is in the Spam Board will remain there, because you're allowed to bump any topic there. Bad posts go in the Staff Board's "Trash Can" -- or they're deleted.
- The topics have to be old. That means I won't let somebody throw a week-old topic in here. It's more about those two month-old, never updated topics, or even the one-year-old topics.
- You can't post here. Ha, you can't even try! Posting is disabled here.

Are you new here on WR? Splendid! This is where you can introduce yourself to all of Rewritten's members that are already here. Ah, and don't worry, Firepaw doesn't bite -- she's just psychotic. And Gray... she's Firepaw's crazy sidekick.

*Also, if you are going for an extended period of time, it's best that you hand over your cats (not including canons) to somebody while you're absent.

With Proboards' awesome ability to put up Youtube videos (though they do kind of ruin the skin a little -- apologies ahead of time for that because of ads), you are able to actually show people videos that you find on the internet that you like. This is where you can show random videos that you find that don't belong in any other category below.

Animated Music Videos

Have you got an AMV, either about Warriors or about any other fandom that you would like to present to other people? Doesn't have to be your video -- just let us know about an AMV that struck you!

Is there a song that you want others to listen to? Here's where you can put up videos of theme songs of your characters, or perhaps songs that you just like others to listen to.

Are there memes that you would like to present to us, like memes that you took part in, or memes that you started yourself? Or perhaps you would like to show us a Youtube Poop that struck you as being particularly funny? This is where you can put those videos up.

You have read all the rules, haven't you? That means you're ready to RP! But before you do, you need a character to RP with. This is where this forum comes in. Here, you can create a cat. Canon bios are no exception -- they have to be made here, as well! Wait for either the mod of the Clan you are applying for or a g-mod+ to accept your bio before RPing.

When your character has been accepted by a mod of the Clan you are applying for, it shall be moved to one of the sub-boards here. Remember that until your cat shows up here, you are unable to roleplay, so please be patient and wait for it to be moved here!

Have you got an idea for a character but have no use for the character/don't want to RP it? This is where you can post the ideas. On the other hand, maybe you don't have ideas and you want a character. This is where you may adopt characters.

Inactive characters get put here if the inactive people are gone without excuse for more than two months.

Are you looking for a mate, friends, enemies, etc? This is the board to look. Remember, though, that you might not get a response immediately. You may apply canon characters here if you're having trouble picking a mate for them.

"Sheltered at the foot of a sandy ravine and well protected by thornbushes, this camp is hard to attack and easy to defend."

The ThunderClan camp holds within it the proud members of ThunderClan -- known for their extraordinary ability for prey hunting and loyalty, while at the same time starting a tentative approach at accepting outsiders with potential.

"Watch out for the Twoleg tree-eater! It makes the ground rumble and leaves deep gullies that fill with muddy water."

Very close to the Treecut Place, Tallpines is at the very end of ThunderClan's territory, and it leads to all of the Twolegplace. It's quite a journey over to here, so it's surprising that Firepaw kept up his stamina when he went from the Twolegplace to here to the camp.

"Its branches are thick and strong all the way to the ends. Young apprentices learn to climb here and dare one another to climb higher."

The Great Sycamore is a very symbolic piece of ThunderClan, not to mention it's right next to Snakerocks. If a ThunderClan cat were to get lost, the Great Sycamore, being the biggest tree in the forest, is a great landmark to look for to get back.

"Halfway up the trunk is a hole that is home to a tawny owl that flies out at night."

Legend has it that an early ThunderClan apprentice learned the secrets of night hunting from one such owl. Every night, as the moon rose, he would wait at the foot of the Owl-Tree. When the owl swooped out, he followed, like the owl's shadow cast by the moon on the ground. Eventually this bold young apprentice became a great leader known as Owlstar. In the hunt, he was as silent and deadly as the tawny owl.

"A warm spot in the sunshine. Keep a sharp eye out for prey darting between the cracks!"

Many moons ago, when the river was much wider than it is now, Sunningrocks was an island. Only RiverClan cats could swim out to it. Then the water dropped, and SUnningrocks became part of the forest shore, so ThunderClan claimed it. They did not allow RiverClan cats to cross their territory to reach it. Since then, many battles have been fought between the two Clans over these smooth, sun-warmed stones.

"Beware poisonous adders! Chervil grows abundantly here. The caves beneath the rocks provide shelter for dangerous animals, like foxes, badgers -- and even dogs."

Fun fact: in the canon, Ravenpaw actually caught an adder from here. Kits and apprentices, and warriors even, please don't try what Ravenpaw did in canon yourself.

"A training hollow surrounded by trees. Warrior apprentices are unlikely to hurt themselves on the soft ground."

The sandy hollow isn't exactly the best place to hunt -- usually the surrounding forest surrounding Great Sycamore, Owl-Tree, Snakerocks, or Sunningrocks are better hunting spots. However, battle training is very efficient here.

"This well-drained island is circled by gentle rustling reeds instead of thorns, but the other Clans' hatred of water means it has never been attacked."

RiverClan are the sleek cats of the flowing waters, so it's only natural that their camp be close to their namesake. With an open camp hidden within the reed walls, and sheltered dens that are lined with all sorts of collected items, they try their best to make their camp look good.

"WindClan elders boast that they leaped all the way across in their youth, but apprentices are strictly forbidden to go too close."

Try to imagine this from a cat's perspective. The gorge would probably look a lot like a canyon. At the end of the gorge is a giant waterfall, leading into the streaming river of RiverClan. This is how WindClan and RiverClan are connected.

"It is a source of prey and protection to RiverClan, yet it is as changeable as the moon."

This is the river, that weaves it's way through RiverClan's territory, along with giving them most of their prey. Sometimes it is quiet, gentle, and murmuring, but sometimes it froths and roars like a Twoleg monster.

"A safe way to cross the river and get to Fourtrees when the water is high."

This bridge, built by the Twolegs, reaches over the rushing river nearest the falls with the path leading straight to Fourtrees.

"Tucked into a natural dip in the sandy moor, this camp is sheltered from the wind but has proved vulnerable to attack."

WindClan, known for its fleet-footedness, runs across open moors and sleeps underneath the stars. They are quite comfortable sleeping out in the open, unlike the other Clans.

"WindClan apprentices used to come here to learn the scent of a badger. Now a great spot for hunting rabbits!"

The badger hole is not too big, but it's big enough for a large cat to wiggle through, even though it's kind of on the small side in reality.

"WindClan elders boast that they leaped all the way across in their youth, but apprentices are strictly forbidden to go too close."

Try to imagine this from a cat's perspective. The gorge would probably look a lot like a canyon. At the end of the gorge is a giant waterfall, leading into the streaming river of RiverClan. This is how WindClan and RiverClan are connected.

"This large, flat, gray stone slopes steeply above the level moors."

From here, you can spot movement far across the grassland, especially a slow-moving or brightly colored cat from another Clan. WindClan apprentices are assigned to Outlook Rock to test their alertness and guard-duty skills.

"A dark, well-concealed hollow, the camp is hidden deep in the shadows and is surrounded by brambles as prickly and fierce as the hearts of ShadowClan warriors."

The camp of ShadowClan is deep within their pine and marsh territory, sheltered well from intruders and perfect for these cats of the night. With pine needles and moss to line dens and the walls full of thorns, it can be both comfortable and painful, depending on the cat.

"Yuck! Smell that? This is an evil place where rats and disease lurk."

A place that no cats like to go unless they are desperate, here is where all the Two-legs dump their disgusting rubbish.

"The ability of ShadowClan cats to move freely across the most feared border of the Thunderpath has enhanced their reputation for mysterious strength and invincibility."

The Thunderpath tunnel is a tunnel that goes underneath the Thunderpath. ShadowClan cats are more likely to use this so they don't get hit by monsters zooming by when they raid other Clans, steal prey or are simply attending a full moon Gathering.

"An ancient tree destroyed by lightning many moons ago. Apprentices are often trained here to hunt at night and stalk noiselessly through the undergrowth."

This old tree not only serves as common training grounds for ShadowClan apprentices, seeing as warriors and the alike come here to relax, hunt, or spend quality time with one another.

In a clearing at the center of the forest, where all four Clan territories converge, there is a space sacred to StarClan. Four great oaks stand at the corners of the clearing. At one end is a large boulder called the Great Rock, where the Clan leaders stand during Gatherings. Every month, at the full moon, cats from all four Clans gather here in peace for one night to share the news of the forest.

Far to the north of WindClan's territory, across a dangerous Thunderpath, there is a range of mountains known to the cats as Highstones. Deep inside a cave in the mountain lies the Moonstone, a glowing rock turned to silver by the moonlight. THis is where cats from all the Clans must go to communicate with StarClan. Leaders travel here to receive their nine lives and their warrior name. Medicine cats visit the Moonstone together once a month at the half-moon, to trade remedies and share tongues with StarClan.
