I notice a lot of questions have been coming up about how many cats per account, if it's an account per cat, etc etc. So, this topic is to explain exactly what you're supposed to do as far as your account goes. I hope this will clear up any questions.
First of all, it's one member per account. Not one character per account. That means all of your characters will be stored on one account, not multiple ones. I believe that too many accounts can be forgotten, and they mislead people into thinking this site has more members than it actually has, which is dishonest. Thus, multiple cats per account. As well, you may have as many cats as you want. I have no limit for accounts, as long as you can keep up with them.
Second, you are not allowed to have more than one account. I don't care if you want one account for OOC and one account for IC. You can't have multiple accounts. There is no excuse to have more than one account on this site. It is misleading.
Third, yes, you do need a way to link to all the profiles of your characters. There will be a forum providing a way to link to all of your character profiles, and you can link to there from your signature. Because I have modified censored words, I won't need this, but you probably will. If you have only one or two characters, it's fine if you don't make a character list and you just put them into your signature. No, I can't extend the character limit in your signature.
Now that the common questions are answered, here are a few things that I want you to know about your account that haven't been asked:- The gender of your profile has to be your gender, not your main cat's. My main cat is Firepaw, but the gender of my profile is Female. This should indicate something.
- I would like it if you had an avatar, which is why I will put up a code for placement avatars. It looks weird seeing a profile without an avatar to me personally. So, I would absolutely highly recommend getting an avatar. If you need a warriors avatar, try checking sites like Warriors Wish and other big warriors sites.
- You are allowed to link to your site in your signature and set your homepage as your site. This isn't considered advertising spam, because you are not telling people to join your site; you are just saying that you have a site that you own.
- Don't use any avatars that aren't free service! The ones at Warriors Wish are free service as long as you don't claim them as your own, as well as those at Iconator and other such sites. Don't steal avatars that people have custom made, please.
- Your signature should not be too big. If it is any bigger than mine, I will delete it. I am dead serious. Signatures make really bad scrolling problems if they have huge images in them. I can remove your privilege to have a signature. Please don't be the person I have to do that to.
- Don't beg a staff member to edit your custom text. I edit your custom text based off of what I think your custom text should be. Please don't beg a staff member to change it. Once you are a staff member, you should be able to change it yourself, anyway.
