other characters: spottedleaf, graypaw, stonefur, patchedpepper, redbelly, nightlily, tsarr. canon character? no.
name: lilypaw [tail]. gender: female. age: six moons. clan: windclan. rank: apprentice.
------------------------------------------------------------------------->
short appearance: beautiful long-legged tabby she-cat.. appearance: Lilypaw is a she-cat who is a perfect picture of what a WindClan cat should look like and everyone knows it. She isn’t the largest cat around, being rather small in comparison to most apprentices, but her long, thin legs, ending in small, elegant paws is what makes her seem bigger than she is. With a longer-than-average, sweeping tail, she is thin and long, giving her the best figure for speeding across the open moors. Her head has a bit of a Siamese look to it, with her ears being slightly smaller than most cats, and her muzzle rather long. Her large, rounded eyes give her a rather innocent, their bright, crystal-blue colour capturing the light of the day, always seeming to deeply show her emotions clearly, which can sooth most cats when they’re talking to her.
Lilypaw’s pelt matches her figure almost perfect, with her coat being a rich chocolate brown, shaded in parts with cinnamon ginger which shows mostly across her beautiful face. Her pelt though, is also streaked with beautiful thin, dark brown stripes, forming the typical tabby patterns across her fur. Her chin and neck are a pale, creamy white though, this patch covering her whole chest before finishing at a point. Her front paws are also this shade of white, while her back paws are not. Really, she’s a she-cat who does stand out in a crowd rather clearly, even if she doesn’t like to admit it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------->
likes/strengths: • Starwatching. • Hunting. • Memories. • Observing Others. • Running. • Her brother. dislikes/weaknesses: • Training. • Memories. • Fighting. • Sleeping. • Lack in Faith. personality: Lilypaw, ever since she was a kit, has been a very good-tempered and patient cat, which shocked her parents mostly when she was still in the nursery. She doesn’t like to make a lot of noise, always seeming to ponder and observe the cats and world around her, taking in everything that happens and storing it away. She has a photographic and almost perfect memory, which means she remembers everything, every little detail and can form a perfect image of things. But this, along with its benefits, is a curse. It means that she cannot forget about insults or comments other cats have made, nor any deaths or battles. This is most of what she ponders about and, as you can tell, it is impossible for her to forgive and forget. But in saying this, she has never taken anything out on another cat or treated anyone differently because of something they did ages ago. She knows that cats grow up and change, and sadly, she’ll be able to trace their path in growing up.
She is naturally a very queen-like she-cat, being rather soft-spoken and gentle to most cats, always offering a smile and small words of comfort. That’s another thing, for a cat who remembers lots, she is a cat of small words, not liking to go on about nothing, only ever speaking in short bursts and getting straight to the point. She does get nervous and worried about offending someone when she says stuff, which is why everything she says is carefully planned out in her mind, like everything she does. Never will this she-cat rush into a decision, which is good in some ways as she is quick-minded, able to decide quickly. Even though she is rather soft in most aspects, she isn’t afraid to be a warrior and is dedicated completely to her clan, even if she doesn’t always believe in the rules that are set and often challenges them in her mind.
Hunting is, as you may guess, her strength, being able to run smoothly across the moors without much effort and, hunting doesn’t give her (for some strange reason) a sense of guilt like fighting does, so already, even if she’s only young into her time as an apprentice, her mentor has noticed her strengths in the area of hunting. Fighting, although she hasn’t started training for it yet, worries her. While she can remember every piece of prey she catches, she would also remember every cat she’d injured and, in the end, it would probably kill her with guilt. That’s something she lack though, someone she can call a friend, who can help her get over her troubles with her memories and help her get on with life. Although she is a popular apprentice in the clan, she is still distant from most cats. If it wasn’t for her brother Cheetahpaw, she might be in a worse state than she is already, as he is always keeping her on her paws and moving on with life. one-sentence personality: Lilypaw is a very gentle, soft-spoken she-cat who has a perfect memory, that in the end tortures her thoughts.
------------------------------------------------------------------------->
history: Lilykit was born on a rather warm morning, the perfect time for kits to be born. Even though it was close to Leaf-bare, no one in the clan was worried about the kits not surviving, as both were strong and their parents, even stronger. Lilykit’s family was always close and she knew both her parents and brother very closely, by the time she was four moons old. It was in these early moons that her prefect memory showed, as she was the only cat who knew where all the kits in the nursery were and what they were doing, along with the current place of her parents after they had gone through the next day’s plans that night when the kits were meant to be asleep. Lilykit’s mother always worried as she grew older and started to ponder on things, how badly this would affect the young she-cat, while her father didn’t see such a problem with it. Cheetahkit was the only cat that really did see how it changed Lilykit and, from the moment he noticed, he’s always been her support and would stand up to any kit that started annoying her. Really, Lilykit was thankful, and more so when they became apprentice, and she knew that one of these days she’d do something that she would regret and remember fully.

roleplaying sample: The wind seemed to whisper words, as it drifted across the open moors and down through the gorse of the hollow. The night sky was clear of any clouds, the stars of silverpelt glittering down into the camp. The full moon stood out against the night though, its light filling the camp like the sun did in the day. The clearing itself was almost deserted, most cats either at the gathering or out enjoying the perfect night, but Lilypaw just couldn’t. Her beautiful rich pelt shone in the moonlight, large blue eyes remaining focused on the moon high above as the wind ruffled her soft fur. Closing her eyes, she let the song of the wind whistle through her ears, the words slowly imprinting into her mind, like StarClan was talking to her, knowing she’d remember.
But really, did StarClan exist? If they did, how could they let someone like her, suffer from a perfect memory? ”Now Lilypaw, please perform the move I just did” Her mentor knew how perfect her memory was so she could mimic moves after only seeing them once, but, it ruined the whole point of actually training! Any cat could go out and watch a warrior hunt or fight, but apprentices, they wanted to be taught, to learn how to do these things and, for her, she just had the watch and, it was like it could be performed almost at once, with a few minor mistakes. Training, it was a chore, while sitting here, under the stars and moonlight, pondering, like always, was something she could do without a second thought.
Most apprentices wouldn’t even think about their ancestors, but for some reason, she did. Was it possible she was destined for the life of a Medicine cat? This thought had come to mind, so the simple argument from earlier days ran through her mind, once again making clear that she was going to be a warrior, even if the blood and death was going to be a sin across her soul. A soft sigh drifted from her lips, out into the open air as she looked across the clearing, her eyes slowly beginning to drift closed. Shaking her head slightly, she padded over to the edge of the camp, where under a small gorse bush there was a large gap with moss coating the ground, large enough for a cat and a half, Cheetahpaw and her. Curling into a ball on the edge of the moss, she let her eyes drift back up to the night sky.
Was this really her destiny? That was the last thought that drifted through her mind before she fell into a light sleep.
