Canon Character? Nope.
Name: Claritypaw
Gender: Female
Age: 8 moons
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Apprentice
Short Appearance:
A golden-brown tabby with brown eyes, a white chest, paws, stomach, and tail-tip.
Appearance:
FUR: The top half of Claritypaw's pelt is a beautiful tabby pattern. A honey color with a slight brown tinge backgrounds darker brown tabby stripes in an intricate pattern. These stripes run down her side until they meet fluffy white fur that pretty much makes up Claritypaw's bottom half. Around the base of her tail, Claritypaw's tabby stripes overcome the area, making it look brown at first glance before abruptly becoming the normal tabby pattern again.
BUILD: The young apprentice is small but average, albeit a tad skinny. Her build is dainty and feminine making her a much better hunter than fighter. Her paws conceal shiny white claws which are almost never drawn. Thin and tabby-colored, Claritypaw's tail is longer than most, perfect for balance, which she has a lot of. Her legs are long and thin, of course, like the rest of her.
HEAD: Claritypaw's ears are somewhat large and a tad pointed. They slope easily into a slightly triangular head with a long muzzle. The end of her muzzle is tipped by a bright pink nose and mouth. Her muzzle is mostly white and it abruptly fades into her honey-and-brown tabby pattern for the rest of her head. The young she-cat has warm chocolate-brown eyes that can seem a little hypnotic at times. They are wide with large, dark pupils in their center. Claritypaw's whiskers are long, both the ones on her muzzle and above her eyes.
Likes/Strengths:
Claritypaw likes:hunting, as she is much better at this than anything else. She usually goes hunting when she needs time to think.
walks, usually at night she thinks they are most peaceful. She enjoys those little things like dew dripping off a leaf and a songbird singing before fluttering away.
Claritypaw's strengths include:kindness, although some could call this a weakness, it's also a good quality.
peacemaking, because she hates violence. Claritypaw is an extremely peaceful she-cat and she'll always try to be the one to get others to make up if fighting.
Dislikes/Weaknesses:
Claritypaw dislikes:fighting, as violence is a huge hatred of hers.
other clans, as she is extremely loyal. She isn't a big fan of other cats and gatherings aren't a big thing for her.
Claritypaw's weaknesses include:shyness, as it causes her to be a bit....socially inept.
battles, because she can hardly fight.
Personality:
Claritypaw is a shy and timid she-cat. She's very smart, however, and she tend to look at things from a different way then most. Some might think of the cup as half-empty. Some might think of it as half-full. Claritypaw would wonder what is in the cup. The young apprentice isn't fond of other clans and is fiercely loyal.
She is probably the worst fighter you've ever seen, but she makes up for it in her hunting skills. She absolutely adores kits and want some herself some day - but she's afraid of the kitting part. Claritypaw is very peaceful and hates any kind of violence. The young she-cat tends to keep to herself for the most part. She doesn't usually start conversations, but she enjoys them. Claritypaw is extremely secretive, so she doesn't usually expound on things. She's very keen on not getting close to anyone. After Claritypaw lost her siblings, she has been hesitant to create any close relationships with any other cats in the clan, although she does enjoy simple conversation.
The apprentice has her quirks. She twitches her tail when she's happy, and when she's nervous, she holds it very still - pretty much the opposite of most cats. She sometimes holds one ear flat on her head when trying to fall asleep. When she's hunting, sometimes she'll unsheathe the claws on her front right paw only. These quirks may seem weird to her, but she doesn't mind them. She's the kind of cat who knows that everyone has something special about them, and she thinks these are her specialties.
One-Sentence Personality:
Claritypaw is sweet, kind, timid, a terrible fighter and a wonderful hunter.
History:
BEGINNING: Claritypaw was born like most other kits, to a loving queen, Daisybloom, and a father, Springstep. Now Springstep was somewhat distant to his kits - Claritypaw knew that he hadn't really cared for the young cats much. Daisybloom was a little overprotective and she constantly lied to her kits about the dangers of what lay outside of the clan. Well, she didn't lie so much as exaggerated. She said that badgers were the size of the cats of TigerClan and that foxes were faster than the fastest warrior in WindClan.
EVENTS: This scared Claritypaw, as she believed it at first. However, her siblings, Cloudypaw and Shockpaw, didn't. Fall had come a little early one year and many cats had been concerned about the coming winter. Cloudykit and Shockkit had wanted to help ThunderClan, so they went out in the crisp fall weather, deciding they could hunt and help the clan some. They wanted Claritypaw to come with, but she refused, being the goody-two-shoes that she was. Then Claritypaw's siblings weren't found until a day later. Shockkit qand Cloudykit had died in the first blizzard of Leafbare. Claritypaw was shaken, but she got over it, having felt she never was truly friends with them in the first place. Daisybloom shortly went into depression while Springstep's routine didn't alter much, other than comforting his mate when needed. Claritypaw was kept on a short leash for a while and she despised it, but didn't want to upset Daisybloom, so she tolerated it until she became an apprentice.
APPRENTICESHIP: During that first moon of apprenticeship, Claritypaw's parents disappeared and some thought they had run away. Others thought they'd been on the Thunderpath at the wrong place and time. Claritypaw isn't sure what to think. She likes to think that they'd just run away and that they are happy as loners. Besides this, not much else has happened in Claritypaw's apprenticeship. She trains hard and she's currently attempting to hone her fighting skills.
Summary:
Claritypaw lost her family as a kit but managed to get past it.

A small she-cat awoke from her sleep as pale sunlight filtered into the den. Her bright brown eyes blinked awake as she realized a shaft of sunlight was directly on her face. Ducking out of the way, Claritypaw darted over to the corner of the den where she groomed her fur very precisely and neatly; she smoothed down the ruffled chest fur, she drew her paws over her ears, she even held her tail between her paws to lick the white tip clean of dirt. Finishing up, she trotted out of the den and stepped up to a puddle. Small and dainty paws knocked the edge of the water, sending ripples shooting through the surface and ricocheting off the puddle's edge. When it settled, Claritypaw looked down in the shimmery blue water. Similar to her name, it was nice and clear, seemingly fresh from the previous night.
Perfect, she thought as she glanced around camp. Her brown eyes roved over Bluestar's den as she watched a warrior disappear into it. She saw another apprentice appear out of the den, stretch, purr, and run off towards his mentor, ready for a day of training. She also noticed a warrior come through the entrance and shake the water off of his fur. It appeared as though the dew from the morning had soaked his pelt pretty well. Claritypaw looked around for her own mentor curiously. The young apprentice gave a small request to StarClan to not give her battle training today. She hated fighting against her mentor as she usually failed miserably.
